Image processing

Image processing is a vital part of IT and its applications are so numerous that daily activities in several industries could not be possible without it

Our company has a long standing experience in using image processing for such tasks as
  • Classification
  • Feature detection
  • Patttern recognition
  • Computer vision systems
  • Digital geometry
  • Automated object inspection
  • Image restoration
  • Image fusion
  • Morphological image processing
  • and many other tasks specific to various activities and industries

The simple example below matches a pattern against a source image and highlights the best sample it recognizes.

The algorithm uses a combination of two methods for pattern matching. First, a block matching approach is used to determine which region of the main image is most likely to correspond to the pattern image. Then, a detailed search is performed around this region in an attempt to locate the precise location of the pattern within the main image. Limiting the computationally intensive detailed search to a specific region of the main image provides a significant saving in computation time
